Early Voting Is Ending Across Florida — Saturday in Escambia, Sunday in Counties That Extended It
Florida's mandatory early voting period ends Saturday, October 31, but the last early ballot depends on the county: some supervisors extended voting through Sunday, November 1. In Escambia County, Saturday was the final day — and Election Day rules are stricter.

The early voting clock is running out across Florida, and the deadline depends on where a voter lives. The state's mandatory early voting period ends Saturday, October 31, while some counties have extended their schedules through Sunday, November 1, FOX 13 reported. In Escambia County there is no extension: Saturday was the final early day, with 10 locations open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to NorthEscambia.
The rules change on Election Day. During early voting, a registered voter can cast a ballot at any designated early voting site in their county; on Tuesday, November 3, voters must go to their assigned precinct, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and anyone in line by 7 p.m. allowed to vote. In-person voters must bring a current, valid photo ID that includes a signature.
Vote-by-mail voters are out of mailing time. Completed ballots must be received by the county Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day — a postmark is not enough — and voters who have not yet returned a ballot should deliver it in person rather than put it in the mail, FOX 13 reported.
