Florida Ballots Top 4.7 Million Through October 30 as Early Voting Heads Into Its Final Day
Florida's early turnout has climbed past 4.7 million ballots returned through October 30 — 452,459 of them on that day alone and 11 percent ahead of the same point in 2022 — as the mandatory early-voting window closes Saturday ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, November 3.

Florida voters have returned 4,726,493 ballots through October 30, according to the state Division of Elections file tallied on October 31 — a single-day addition of 452,459 ballots and a total 11 percent ahead of the same point in the 2022 cycle.
The party movement underneath the total is uneven. Registered Democrats have cast 16 percent more ballots than at this point in 2022, Republicans 3 percent more, and unaffiliated voters 22 percent more, according to the same state-file tally. An earlier statewide count, reported by FOX 13, put the figure at more than 4.2 million, with about 2.5 million ballots cast in person and 1.8 million returned by mail.
Florida's mandatory early-voting period runs through Saturday, October 31, with some counties offering voting on Sunday as well. In Escambia County, early voting runs Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 10 locations. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, when polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and voters cast ballots at their assigned precincts.
