TSA PreCheck Enrollment Opens at Pensacola International on Election Day - Four Days, $76.75, Five Years
The airport hosts an enrollment event Tuesday through Friday, 9 to noon and 1 to 5, in Suite 225. Do the online application tonight and the in-person half is fingerprints, a photo and the fee.

Pensacola International Airport is hosting a TSA PreCheck enrollment event this week, from Tuesday, November 3 through Friday, November 6, in Suite 225 at 2430 Airport Boulevard. The hours are the same each day - 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. - and the timing is deliberate-feeling even if it is coincidence: the same week the Blue Angels come home and the fall festival season peaks is a useful week to make the airport faster for the next five years.
What PreCheck buys is the short line and the un-undressed checkpoint: expedited screening at more than 200 airports nationwide, with shoes, belts and light jackets staying on and laptops and compliant 3-1-1 liquids staying in the bag. The application is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. At the in-person appointment, applicants present identity and citizenship documentation, give fingerprints, have a photo taken and pay the $76.75 application fee, which covers a five-year membership upon approval.
The practical tip is to do the first half at home: the initial application can be completed online in advance at tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov, which speeds up the visit, and most applicants receive their Known Traveler Number within three to five business days after the appointment - fast enough, for anyone enrolling early in the week, to be flying the homecoming weekend with the number already in the reservation.
