The Blue Angels Come Home Friday and Saturday: Gates at 8, the Blues at 2, and a REAL ID in Your Pocket

It is the first Homecoming Air Show since 2024, and it closes the Blue Angels' 2026 season at NAS Pensacola: free admission, gates at 8 a.m., flying from 9:30, and the home team over Sherman Field at about 2 p.m. both days.

The Blue Angels Come Home Friday and Saturday: Gates at 8, the Blues at 2, and a REAL ID in Your Pocket (Pensacola Watch News)

The wait is nearly over. The Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show returns to Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7 - the first homecoming show since 2024, and the team's final show of its 2026 season before winter training. For a city that measures its year partly in Blue Angels noise, this is the home date everything else bends around.

The logistics are simple and worth writing down. Both the Main Gate, at the south end of Navy Boulevard, and the West Gate, at the south end of Blue Angel Parkway, open at 8 a.m. both days, and the air show starts at 9:30 a.m. The Blue Angels are the last act and are scheduled to fly around 2 p.m. - expect roughly 2 to 2:45 p.m. if the day runs on time. One familiar piece will be missing: Fat Albert, the team's C-130 support aircraft, typically flies for about 15 minutes before the jets, but it is grounded for maintenance until 2027.

Admission and parking are free, and spectators can bring their own seating. Paid box seating runs $50 through the show's official site, with a reserved seat on the show line and private portable toilets; the Flightline Chalet tickets are sold out for both days. The one requirement that can turn a car around at the gate: every person 18 and older must carry a valid REAL ID to get onto NAS Pensacola for the show. The show has no rain dates and no refunds, and the official FAQ is plain that low clouds or high winds can move the schedule - so check the show site before leaving home, and give the gates the early hour they are going to demand.
