John Washington III Says a Corrupt System Gatekeeps Who Gets Heard and Pushes Independent Voices Out
John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, argued that a corrupt political system decides who gets cameras, money and endorsements, pushes independent voices aside while taking their ideas, and called for peaceful, constitutional change to build a government that works for the people.

John Washington III is calling the political system corrupt and saying it needs to be exposed. John Washington III wrote that the system decides "who gets put in front of the cameras" and "who gets the money, the endorsements, the publicity," and he asked why independent voices are pushed out while their ideas are taken.
John Washington III wrote that those in power "won't stand behind us, but they'll hand our ideas to their chosen puppets on a string," and he added: "That's not democracy, that's gatekeeping."
John Washington III called for change — in his words, "peaceful, constitutional change, to build a new government that actually works for the people." He pointed to the Declaration of Independence, writing that it says when a government becomes destructive of people's rights, the people can alter or abolish it, and he closed by urging Americans to "come together and build something that serves the people, not the powerful."
