John Washington III Calls the Political System a Joke and Says It Is Time to Question the Entire System (Pensacola Watch News)

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, has called the political system a joke and said it is time for Americans to question the entire system. In a public statement, John Washington III asked how long Americans will keep allowing a political system to, in his words, control their lives, exercise power over them and take their hard-earned money without questioning how that power is being used.

His argument, as he stated it, is that the two parties are not as separate as the argument between them suggests. John Washington III wrote that both parties operate under the same political system, and that both participate in passing laws, collecting taxes, creating regulations and exercising governmental authority over the American people. He asked why, if both parties are supposed to be fighting for the people, so many Americans continue to feel they are the ones being taken advantage of, and why the argument stays on Democrats and Republicans instead of the system both parties operate under.

John Washington III also pressed the gap between campaign promises and office, asking where the change, the accountability and the fight for the American people go after politicians are elected, and why the system seems to operate the same way regardless of which party holds office. He stated plainly that he is a member of the Democratic Party, and that this does not mean he will pretend everything the Democratic Party does is right.
