Check Before You Go: Several Escambia County Precincts Have Moved for Election Day

Four Escambia precincts vote at permanently new locations on Tuesday, two more vote at temporary sites, and Precinct 31 returns to Christ Church. Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender's list, with addresses, is the Monday check that keeps a voter from driving to the wrong door.

Check Before You Go: Several Escambia County Precincts Have Moved for Election Day (Pensacola Watch News)

The most expensive mistake an Escambia County voter can make on Tuesday is a simple one: driving to last cycle's polling place. Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender has announced several polling place changes for the 2026 elections, and affected voters in each moved precinct are mailed a notice of the change and a new Voter Information Card - but a card in a mailbox only helps a voter who reads it before 7 a.m. on Election Day.

Four moves are permanent. Precinct 5, formerly at Wilde Lake Church, now votes at Klondike Church of Pensacola, 7201 Klondike Road. Precinct 49, formerly at Grace Lutheran and CareerSource Escarosa, now votes at Asbury Place, 750 College Boulevard. Precinct 77, formerly at Pensacola State College's Warrington campus, now votes at the Lexington Terrace Community Center, 700 South Old Corry Field Road. And Precinct 98, formerly at St. John Divine Baptist Church, now votes at Bethel AME Church, 511 Woodland Drive.

Two more changes are temporary for 2026. Precinct 14, whose permanent home is the Fricker Resource Center, votes this cycle at the Pensacola Main Library, 239 North Spring Street. Precinct 70, permanently at Burgess Road Baptist Church, votes at The Gathering Place at Pensacola Christian College, 115 St. John Street. Two carry-overs complete the list: Precinct 22 in Century, changed during the 2025 special election, votes at the Billy G. Ward Century Courthouse, 7500 North Century Boulevard, and Precinct 31 returns to its permanent location at Christ Church Pensacola, 18 West Wright Street, after voting at the Main Library in 2024 and 2025. Polls are open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at assigned precincts only.
