IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Awards a Record $1.313 Million to 13 Local Nonprofits
Thirteen nonprofit organizations across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties have each received a $101,000 grant from IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area — a record $1.313 million round of local giving announced this week.

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area has awarded a record $1.313 million to local nonprofits, NorthEscambia reported this week. Thirteen organizations across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties each received a $101,000 grant.
The announcement was made Sunday, October 26, and the total is the largest in the local chapter's history of collective giving, in which members pool their contributions into a small number of large grants.
Grants of this size — $101,000 at a time — are capital-scale money for area nonprofits, the kind that funds buildings, vehicles and program expansions rather than operating costs. The awards land as the two counties are also working through Hurricane Isaias recovery, when local charities are carrying extra demand.
