FEMA Registration Points Open Today in Escambia County - and They Run Through Wednesday (Pensacola Watch News)

Escambia County residents with Hurricane Isaias damage can sit down with a person today. The county's three FEMA registration points open Sunday, November 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Bayview Senior Center, 2000 E. Lloyd Street; the Escambia County Central Office Complex, 3363 W. Park Place; and Cokesbury Church, 5725 N. 9th Avenue - all in Pensacola - to help residents who have questions about the FEMA Individual Assistance application process, Escambia County announced.

The help does not end today. Registration assistance continues at the same three locations Monday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 4, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with State Emergency Response Team staff available to help residents register or answer questions about FEMA applications, according to the official-updates posting by Rep. Michelle Salzman's office. The extended weekday hours were not part of the county's first announcement and give working residents three more chances to get in-person help.

Individual Assistance, approved for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties last week under the federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Isaias (FEMA-4955-DR), can help eligible households with housing, home repairs and other disaster-related needs. Residents who cannot come in person can apply at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA app, or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362.
